Two weird electronics happenings in two days. I'll report 'em and then we'll pretend they never happened:
1. Night before last, my laptop -- shut down and sitting unplugged on a shelf -- powered up and blasted James Blunt's "Monsters" at like 3-ish am. First, let's address the fact that I had not been on YouTube, much less listening to that song that makes me cry like a wee baby every time. I listen to Pandora on my phone when I want tunes. Second, my laptop requires a passcode to "unsleep." So WTH...I was literally scrambling to wake up, figure out what was going on, and power up my laptop to turn it off.
2. I was just checking my local weather. It has been "clocked" as being in Putamayo, Colombia. iPhone. My weather was pulling up Putamayo as my location. Okay. So not as startling as the above, but seriously, Apple...WTH. Glitch? Or hacked? It made me mentally glitch when I was like, "Oh...it is 72 degrees out!!!!!
Why do I pretend these things don’t happen after acknowledging them? Over 65,000 hacking attempts into this journey, how would I not lose my mind if I retained every memory? If I break down, my offender wins. I won’t break.
